More About Supriya

Supriya Munshaw is an Associate Professor of Practice and the Associate Dean for Academic Programs at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. Her primary interest lies in the commercialization of early-stage technologies, especially in the life science and medical device industries. At Carey, she has taught several courses, including Discovery to Market, Pharmaceutical Strategy, Statistical Analysis, Business Leadership and Human Values, and New Product Development.and, New Product Development. She was one of the founders and organizers of the Johns Hopkins Bootcamp for Biomedical Entrepreneurs and is now actively teaching Technology Entrepreneurship courses through the Executive Education Program. She is the Associate Director of the Innovations for Substance Use Disorders Program. Outside of Carey, she is involved in the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Baltimore by advising local tech, Biotech, and MedTech startups. She is a general partner at TCP Venture Capital, a firm dedicated to investing in technology companies based in Baltimore, MD. Additionally, she has served as adjunct faculty for the NSF I-corps and continues to serve to serve on SBIR grant review panels.
