Our Application is Now Open!
Applications are open now until July 6, 2025.
It is a 2-step application: once you register through the interest form (click here), you will receive an email with a link to complete the entire application. The application will ask for basic information about your professional and entrepreneurial experience, to upload your academic CV, and for short essays (200-300 words) on your commercialization project idea and career goals.
You do not have to pay to submit your application; please disregard the $ 1,000 fee mentioned in the interest form. Your submission will be processed without submitting payment information.
I4SUD will award up to 30 NIDA-funded scholarships to selected applicants to attend this training. Teams that submit together may also be considered for scholarships. The scholarship will cover the cost of program admission as well as transportation and housing. Scholarship selections will be awarded based on the perceived fit of their proposed solution for the I4SUD program. Persons who have a prior history of receiving SBIR/STTRs, who have completed a peer NIDA-funded entrepreneurial training program at Babson or MIT, or who are not US citizens will not be eligible to receive this scholarship.
I4SUD will invite up to 20 additional applicants to pay to attend the program. These individuals will be responsible for their own costs, which will include a $ 1,000 program fee for attendance, as well as transportation and housing to the program. All applicants are eligible to be selected for this level, and acceptance will be made by I4SUD based upon perceived project fit for this program. I4SUD will directly notify applicants if they are selected for this level of admission. Selected applicants will be required to pay $1000 to confirm their acceptance. Only accepted individuals will be allowed to participate in this program.
