Ivan Gu

As a data scientist at UT Southwestern Medical Center, Ivan is dedicated to advancing digital medicine through predictive modeling and large language models. His research focuses on developing practical and reliable algorithms that bring together computer science researchers and clinicians, ultimately benefiting both the scientific and clinical communities.

He holds a Master’s degree in Biomedical Informatics and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, providing a strong foundation in both technical and healthcare-related fields. In addition to his academic pursuits, he has a strong track of leadership, having served on the Master’s Student Council and as Treasurer for Alpha Phi Omega.
