Rashmika Reddy-Mazzitello

Rashmika Reddy-Mazzitello is an undergraduate student and Addiction and Sexual Health Research Assistant at Texas Tech University. Her work explores innovative medical device approaches to support individuals during substance use treatment and recovery. She is developing an early-stage concept for a drug-delivery system intended to provide a more individualized and accessible approach to treatment, with an initial focus on opioid and alcohol use disorders. Her work is particularly motivated by the needs of individuals who face financial, geographic, and other barriers to traditional treatment, including those living in rural and underserved communities.
