Stephanie Halvorson

Stephanie Halvorson is a Senior Consultant in Behavioral Health at Steadfast Group whose work focuses on closing the prevention gap between early signs of unhealthy substance use and engagement with clinical treatment. She is developing Substance Use First Aid, an approach designed to equip family members, coworkers, peers, and other community members with the knowledge and confidence to recognize early warning signs, have supportive and stigma-reducing conversations, and help individuals identify appropriate next steps. Her work aims to build prevention capacity in workplaces, schools, healthcare organizations, faith communities, and other settings, particularly where access to behavioral health services is limited.
