Dr. Laura Brandt

Dr. Laura Brandt is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at The City College of New York. She was working with Dr. Odom, as a team, on developing a novel Algorithm Research Organization to improve clinical trial protocols and algorithms in substance use disorder research. Their service-based innovation promises to address health disparities exacerbated by inflated algorithmic error rates in subpopulations underrepresented in research, such as minoritized ethnic/racial groups, women, older adults, and rural populations.
