Dr. Nhung Nguyen is a behavioral scientist and Assistant Professor at the University of California, San Francisco - School of Medicine. Her research provides actionable insights and novel solutions to reduce substance use, promote public well-being, and advance health equity. Dr. Nguyen directs the HEARTY lab - the smartphone-based research lab on tobacco and substance use for health equity. Currently, her team is developing smartphone interventions to help young adults quit using tobacco and cannabis.
