Christine Ramdin

Christine Ramdin, MSc, PhD, is an RBHS Instructor of Emergency Medicine and Surgery-Urology at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School whose work focuses on improving care for patients with co-occurring substance use disorders and stroke. Recognizing that these patients may experience more complex clinical needs and poorer outcomes, she is exploring the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning to generate individualized predictions about outcomes and service needs. Her goal is to integrate these insights into a clinical dashboard that can support emergency care teams in making earlier, more informed decisions, ultimately improving processes of care and outcomes for this complex patient population.
