Lindsay Cameron

Lindsay Cameron is a Postdoctoral Scholar at Stanford University whose work focuses on developing new pharmacological approaches to opioid overdose. Her team is developing a small-molecule therapeutic strategy designed to rapidly restore breathing following an overdose while providing longer-lasting protection against recurrent opioid toxicity. The approach seeks to address limitations of existing overdose-reversal interventions and create a longer window during which individuals can be connected with substance use disorder treatment and recovery services. Her work aims to translate this technology into a new overdose intervention that not only addresses the immediate life-threatening emergency but also helps create a bridge from overdose reversal to continued care.
