Pamela Osseyi


Pamela Osseyi is a passionate researcher, doula, and advocate dedicated to exploring the intersection of social determinants of health and health outcomes. She holds a B.S. in Psychology from Morgan State University and is currently an MHS student in Mental Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Previously, she was a postbaccalaureate researcher at the National Institute on Drug Abuse, where her work examined how social and psychological factors influence health outcomes, with a particular focus on substance use and traumatic events.

Beyond her research, Pamela is dedicated to translating knowledge into actionable solutions that support communities. She is developing an app aimed at empowering individuals who are navigating substance use challenges. Through her work, she seeks to address both systemic barriers and individual needs, striving to create meaningful, lasting change in marginalized communities.
